Shipping Policies
Returns & Exchanges:
We hope you love what you ordered, however we will not be accepting any returns or exchanges unless:
- An incorrect or damaged item has been sent to youThe return shipping charge will be the customer’s responsibility.
Shipping Options:
The Alley delivers within Canada only, standard shipping rates apply unless specified. Deliveries can only be made to locations with a street address or rural route number with postal code. Deliveries to rural / remote areas and the Territories might require additional shipping charges.
At this moment, we cannot deliver to PO boxes.
Shipping Costs:
Shipping rates are determined by weight, size and destination. When you provide a postal code on the shopping cart checkout page, you will receive the most accurate shipping cost based on the items in your cart. Your postal code, the cubic volume and weight of your order are used to calculate and obtain an estimated shipping cost. You will be charged the actual dollar value of the shipping quote displayed during checkout.
Although we make every effort to ensure these quotes are accurate, we reserve the right to refuse orders with major discrepancies between shipping quote and our actual shipping cost.
Pricing & Taxes:
The prices displayed on this site are quoted in Canadian dollars and are valid and effective only within Canada, and such prices do not include shipping and handling fees (unless otherwise indicated) or sales taxes, if applicable, which will be added to your total invoice. The customer is responsible for the payment of any shipping and handling charges and taxes that may apply to the order.
Taxes & Brokerage:
As required by Canadian law, taxes will be applied to the total order (cost of goods plus all shipping fees). This will be reflected in the order total at checkout. All applicable taxes will be charged based on the province the order is being shipped to.
